Summary
Avren leaned against the door, watching the tenderness that Elora had, how her hands gently wrapped the wound so that it wouldn’t irritate it, and listening to the reassuring words that she quickly said anytime the sailor would wince from the pain. For Avren, the woman before her was the most empathetic and gentle woman she had ever met. The sight brought a familiar warmth from the love that she felt spread across her chest, causing her to let out a small sigh of pride.
Watching the love of her life, Avren only had one thought on her mind.
“I can’t wait to marry you.”

Summary
Specs refused to believe that she was gone. Not her. Had it been anyone but Elora, maybe he would have accepted it, but when he got the news that his best friend's soul was shattered, he couldn’t accept it. It never sat right with him. Technically, he had been told that the soul was simply separated, and separated does not mean destroyed; it just means that if he wanted a whole soul, he needed to go and get it. And get them, he would.

Summary
“Miss Elora… If I may ask, why do you keep your hair so long?”
She paused, taking a moment to process the question. It was not that it was an odd question; after all, her hair at this point went down to her ankles even with the multiple braids that kept it in place. What made her hesitate was because no one had really asked that before, at least not where she could answer. Most of the Doxy adults shushed their children and apologized on their behalf since they knew the truth, but the children did not.
Taking a small breath the ground herself, Elora responded, “Well, there is a saying that I heard many years ago. It was that hair holds memories. And I have many memories that I treasure greatly.”

She knew what she was getting herself into when she went with Yugiri on her suicidal assassination attempt. Only their blades and the hope that it would work. The possibility that they were both going to die that day was extremely high, so much so that she had even written letters to the Scions for them to find. However, part of her hoped and prayed to Hydaelyn that perhaps she had grown stronger and that perhaps she could actually beat him after her failure at Rhalgars Reach. That was not what fate decided.
