More than two decades later in 1940, the world is engulfed in a new war against the Mundus Empire, an invading force from another dimension. Having conquered the Southern Hemisphere and steadily expanding its territory, the Mundus Empire has finally set its sights on the Northern Hemisphere.
The United States Pacific Fleet is annihilated off the coast of Hawaii, and the Imperial Japanese Navy’s vaunted Combined Fleet suffers a crushing defeat at the hands of the Mundus Empire’s fleet that has invaded the Truk Islands.
Cornered, the Combined Fleet is relieved by the arrival of a secret fleet of battleships and warships that were supposed to have been sunk as targets under the Washington Naval Treaty, including the battleship Tosa and the German ships that scuttled themselves at Scapa Flow.
Resurrected and transformed by the Magitek Research Department, these ships and weapons are Japan’s new hope against the otherworldly invaders.

Summary
In 1943, the Japanese Empire found itself squeezed between the military powers of the United States and the Soviet Union, feeling the pressure of their encroachment.
Across the Pacific Ocean in the United States, a massive naval expansion plan was being implemented based on the Two-Ocean Navy Act. Once all planned ships were completed, the total tonnage would reach approximately 1,3 million tons. Meanwhile, the Soviet Union was dispatching a colossal ship from Europe to East Asia – the Sovetsky Soyuz. It was the first super battleship commissioned by the Soviet Union.
Three years had passed since the end of the Second World War in Europe in July 1940. The conflict, which seemed to have subsided, was now once again poised to ignite, this time in the Far East.

This report, brought by an attaché stationed in the United States, sent shockwaves through the Imperial Navy. Concluding that they had lost the qualitative advantage of their new battleships, the Imperial Navy top brass decided to significantly alter their designs. The Yamato, which was to be constructed at 64.000 tons, was thus born as an even larger battleship.
However, it was later revealed that the US Navy’s 60.000-ton battleship was misinformation. Realizing that mistakes in intelligence could lead to fatal consequences for the organization, the Imperial Navy completely changed its stance and began to aggressively collect and analyze information. This shift towards prioritizing intelligence brought significant changes to the war preparations and tactics of the Imperial Navy.

Summary
