La decantación es un proceso físico en el que las partículas sólidas se separan de un líquido por sedimentación.
Nuestra mente puede compararse con un vaso con agua salada. La sal representa las emociones negativas como la ira, el resentimiento, la tristeza y el miedo. Al igual que en la decantación, para que el “agua dulce” de las emociones positivas fluya libremente, primero debemos “dejar ir la sal”, es decir, procesar y liberar esas emociones negativas.
En donde Severus debe enfrentar no solo sus propios traumas, sino también a una sociedad fracturada que lo obstaculiza en cada paso. A esto se suma la presencia de un alma gemela que complicará aún más su camino.

Summary
Tony Stark saves the world. He dies minutes later. Peter comes back from the battle to a world that’s changed three times over: first with the Snap and his death, the next with the Reverse Snap that ends the Blip, and one more change, courtesy of an accidental thought during the Reverse Snap: the unification of two separate universes into one. This last results in a physically larger planet, and several new cities, fully formed and inhabited, popping into existence around the world. Gotham City. Metropolis, Keystone City. A few others.
Peter takes this news the only way he can: he accepts it and moves on. So he does. Peter is still reeling from the war against Thanos, but he keeps pushing forward. The realities of this new world find him later, when he visits Metropolis with J. Jonah Jameson for a conference.

“The Tower,” Tara says. “That’s uhm… personal transformation, fear of change and averting disaster.” She stops. “Oh, wait, that’s for Tower Reversed. You’re the Tower Upright.” When she looks up at Charlie, he’s gone pale. “Charlie? Are you alright?"
Charlie suddenly stands, the chair knocking over behind him, hands shaky, head jerking to look up at the ceiling. It seems that whatever is on the ceiling calms him enough and he sits down, chuckling awkwardly. “Sorry. Sorry, I don’t— I don’t know what that was about.”
“See, I feel like the hand stuff is way cooler," Darcy says. "Anyone can fake a card trick. But your hands? Everybody’s got hands. Well… not everybody. But the people who do, they can’t exactly cheat their hands, yeah?” Darcy takes Charlie’s hand in theirs. “See, here’s your lifeline and… wait. Yours goes in two directions—”
“It’s split,” Charlie says. “Broken into two.”
