    "Feyd-Rautha was beautiful, it was undeniable. He was somehow almost feminine despite his broad shoulders and strong bones. The clinging sheerness of his dress certainly didn’t help distract Paul from the fine sculpture of his physique. The accuracy of his previous visions meant that Paul couldn’t even find solace in the idea that this was some temporary madness, that even if he did desire the other boy he would never possibly reciprocate. Paul briefly entertained the idea that it may be preferable for him to die by Feyd-Rautha’s hand than fall in love with a Harkonnen but quickly banished that thought for the foolishness it was. If it were between love and death he would choose love, and yet he was determined to find some path between, for both roads felt like they must lead to destruction."

    -After the failed attack on Arrakis by House Harkonnen, the Emperor orders that Feyd-Rautha be sent to live on Arrakis as a ward of House Atreides.
    -AU in which the Harkonnen attack fails and Feyd and Paul get to meet more than one time.
