Summary
Death was surprised by how quickly his new Master, Harry Potter, was to accept both his status and the cat form they inhabited. Yet, as Death spent time lazing in sun patches with their new Master, they realized that the missing shard of Lord Voldemort's horcrux did more damage than when it was sitting in his soul.

When a shooter targets Trixie's school she prays to the only person who can save her. This has consequences for all of them.
ETA RATING NOTE: Changed the rating from M to E after some thought. Changed it back after some more thought. The rating is for violence only. It's graphic but we're not spending several paragraphs on detailed gory description. Since I used the Violence Warning it should probably be E, but my experience is also that people use that mainly for explicit sex or violence on the level of torture and genocide.TL;DR I'm still not sure, if you have an opinion, please let me know!
