Derek got overwhelmed when he and Stiles' third child came home. He never told anyone the reason he bolted as far as Stiles knows. But he did. The night after Stiles brought their daughter home, Derek left. There wasn't anything Stiles could find to explain it. But their oldest son had found the note his dad left for his papa and hid it. He knew his papa would be upset and didn't need the note to make it worse. Unfortunately, much like his parents, he acted impulsively and might have just made everything worse.

Eddie’s house has felt far too quiet in the months since Christopher left, without the sound of video games, or the clack of crutches, or the quiet rumble of Christopher’s voice as he talks to himself while doing his homework. It’s felt empty - every lonely sound echoing back on itself to give the illusion that it isn’t really alone. But, as the door clicks closed behind Buck, the whole place falls completely silent. It’s like the last part of its beating heart has left, and now nothing but an empty shell remains.
A house is not a home if there is no love living there, and Eddie just sent the last of it packing.

Eddie turns the page of his book. “Talk about what?” he asks, his words a deliberate sort of quiet, as if he’s worried about waking Buck up. And God, if that doesn’t make the ache around Buck’s heart pulse.
“The 6’5 giant using your lap as a pillow?”
Okay, great. Now Buck is not only taking advantage of his best friend, but he’s doing it while eavesdropping on a conversation about him that they all think he’s too asleep to hear.

Buck’s eyes widened visibly at that, because… what the hell? Because now, he was more confused than before, but also… things were clicking. They just weren’t clicking in a way that made it any less confusing.
“Wait, wait. Wait wait wait.” Buck’s hands raised, and he was finally still. “I’m… I’m talking about Tommy Kinard. Who are you talking about?” It was a dumb question, and Buck knew it was, because the mention of coparenting could only relate to one person, and the notion of him trying to get someone’s attention… and the army thing… it…
“Oh.” Bobby’s mouth was tightly shut, looking a little more bashful than Buck had seen him… possibly ever. “I seem to have misunderstood.”
OR -
When buck attempts to come out to Bobby, he winds up finding out that the 118 have a betting pool about him and Eddie. He sets out on a mission to understand why.
