Namjoon's the only one awake when the very last TV channel cuts out and goes to static, and he's glad. It's easier to wake up to find something gone than to have to watch it go, and the others have already had enough of fear and dread and uncertainty. Summary
Bangtan were the Crown's set of six elite Sentinels.
Second only to the Crown, they were the heads of Planet Terra's military, wielding a military with hundreds of thousands of spaceships as they wished.
They were called "Generals" but they were so much more than that- they were astrophysicists, engineers, politicians, doctors, scientists, spies, diplomats. Formed by the bleeding edge of genetic modification, Bangtan were practically unstoppable.
While they were almost super-human, their Guides were most definitively not. Bangtan burned through Guides like cigarettes. No one ever lasted longer than a year, before becoming sickly ill and passing away soon after.
Cadet Jeon Jungkook is the exception.
