Then, quietly, as if it was only her thinking outloud and like maybe it wasn’t meant for anyone else’s ears, “You are like me.”

But even the majestic lion was not all-powerful, not against human innovation, and not even against its prey. When it struck, it only struck true in about one fourth of its attempts; it was much more likely that the prey would get away, leaving the king of the beasts with nothing to show for his efforts. Other large cats had similar success rates, which meant that when the hybridization experiments failed to deliver, the decision was made to look somewhere else for that missing piece.
That Leon Kennedy ended up as their first human test subject was part irony, part bad luck, and part total and complete idiocy.

Summary
Kurosaki Ichigo dies at age 18, when his body simply gives up on him under the weight of his reiatsu. He joins the Gotei 13 and becomes the Lieutenant of the 5th when Hinamori is transferred to the 8th to become Lisa’s Lieutenant.
Aizawa Shouta went to Karakura High School for a single year, before his family moved to Musutafu and he managed to get transferred into UA High School’s Hero Course. He returned to Karakura only once after that, in the summer of his third year, to the funeral of an old classmate he had had the unfortunate luck of being on the same class with throughout middle school and for his first year in high school.
Over ten years after his death, Kurosaki Ichigo receives a mission in the World of the Living. The mission involves trying to find seven ghosts that have never been seen before that seem to be anchored to the World of the Living in some way, that seem to be hanging around the hero All Might, in particular. Ichigo’s job is to find the Pluses, smoke them out of hiding and send them to Soul Society before they can turn into Hollows.
Awkwardly enough, this mission lands Kurosaki Ichigo in Aizawa Shouta’s classroom as a student.
