“Akutagawa, it’s okay.” He said quietly. “I wasn’t going to hit him.”
And somehow, those words were even worse. Of course he wasn’t going to hurt Atsushi, the golden boy who was superior to Akutagawa in every way. He probably didn’t deserve it like Akutagawa did, doesn’t need it to get better like he did.
“Oh.” He choked out, staring at his feet. He didn’t want to see the expressions Atsushi and Dazai were making at him. “I see.”
He walked away from the two ADA members, and once he made it to the fire escape, started running as fast as his legs would go. Horrifyingly, tears began to blur Akutagawa’s vision as he ran. He couldn’t let them see him weak.

“NO, no, Seto you’ll do that yourself! I promise.” Joey shouted, and Kaiba heard the noise of a card flipping up, and felt something push him away. His breath left his body, and his eyes opened.
Just in time to watch Joey get in front of the blast and take it himself.

Summary
They walked toward the next area, the penguins.
They were in an enclosed space, the cold water in their enclosure not being able to withstand the heat of California at basically any time of year. There were a lot in the area, probably twenty or so. There was some swimming, and some standing in groups like a spy organization. The best one however, was right by the glass, laying stomach down on top of a rock with his flippers waving like wings. Buck and Penelope thought it was hilarious.
“He looks like he’s trying to swim through the air!” Penelope laughed, giggling as she doubled over. Buck was giggling like a kid while he took a picture. He had climbed on the artificial stack of rocks outside of the enclosure to get a better camera angle, the man ending up much like the penguin he was photographing. Then he proceeded to almost fall off the rocks, causing Penelope, who had just stopped laughing at the original penguin, to burst out laughing again.

Buck and Eddie looked each other in the eye, smiling wide as Eddie grabbed Buck’s hand and pulled him closer. Buck grabbed the back of Eddie’s head, tipping it forward so he could place his lips on his husbands. Nothing else mattered in that moment, not their family cheering for them, or their wedding party’s shouting and crying all at the same time, or the other people in the park celebrating for them from behind the barriers.
Because they were married, and that's all that mattered.

Summary
“Hey, Dad? What’s in this box?” Eddie heard a noise coming from the living room where he was standing in the kitchen preparing lunch. He set his knife down on the cutting board and walked into the living room, seeing his daughter sitting on the floor near one of their bookshelves, holding a small brown box covered in dust in her lap.
Eddie walked over, crouching down to get a closer look.
“Babe, look what Isabella found! The box of pictures.” Eddie called, Buck walking into the room at his husband’s call and grinning at the sight of him and their daughter sitting together.
“Nice job, lovely! I forget we had these. When Dad and I met, the family liked to take a bunch of pictures of us! And we kept them all in this box Uncle Chim made for us.” Buck explained excitedly.
“Would you like to see a few, carino?” Eddie said from his spot on the floor, a smile on his face.
“Yes, please!” Isabella smiled, giggling brightly.

Summary
This is my take on Whumptober 2024!
A couple things to note:
1. I'm a full time student, who also works on the side. So I will try my very hardest to finish these prompts on time, but there's no guarantee. My goal is to finish them all, at some point during the month.
2. I will most likely end up posting these very late at night, so expect some typos and things. I do plan to, after the month is over, to fix any errors and maybe lengthen a few.
3. These will probably be 3000 words or less. But, like I said, I will hopefully find time to lengthen them eventually.As always, read the tags, take care of yourself, and enjoy!

Summary
"Don't move." The boy said, his face covered by mild terror and heart beating so loudly that Osamu could hear it.
"Then, talk to me." The brunet challenged in turn, as he stared Atsushi right in the eyes, seeing the boy cave in, as he looked at the IV connected to his veins, trying not to break it again.
"What do you want to talk about?" Atsushi asked in turn, with an angry expression.
"Whatever it is that is bothering you." The brunet stated in turn, as he relaxed.
"Nothing is." Atsushi lied through his teeth, looked him in the eyes and lied.
He couldn't have that.
"Are you disappointed in me?" The brunet asked, hitting a nerve seemingly, as the boy's eyes flashed.
"No." He didn't sound like he was lying per say.
"Then, what is it?" Dazai asked, a bit confused, puzzled by the boy's expression.
He seemed to be mourning. But nobody died.
Atsushi looked at him, to his nonexistent wounds that Yosano long since has healed, to the floor and then back at him, in a span of a minute that felt like hours as the silence haunted them both.
"I thought you were dead."

Summary
Oh God, I killed him...
The only way Atsushi copes with the defeat of Fukuchi and the Deacy of Angels is to go silent, starve and dehydrate himself. None of the Agency realise until it's much too late. Afterwards, they finally see what exactly happened on the boat, and what caused Atsushi to tear Fukuchi to pieces.
A Post Chapter 88 fic.

Summary
After Remus forgave Sirius because of the prank, nothing was the same. Sirius acted like he was walking on eggshells every time they were around each other, and Remus hated it. Granted, he hadn’t been the nicest to Sirius, but he was the victim here. Remus only wanted to see Sirius try a bit harder, but he wouldn’t. Still, Remus didn’t expect him to go MIA on his birthday. Neither did he expect to find him in a closet.
