Summary
Katsuki wished he could have gone home, to their apartment where they spent the last year in actual bliss. He’d never say it like that, lest Deku get a big head. But it was. It was bliss. They tended to work the same shifts as Hero Partners, though there were times like these when they didn’t get assigned onto the same case. This time was because Katsuki’s explosions were too much of a risk in the environment they were raiding. Whatever, he didn’t care much because he didn’t have to fly across the country and remain there for a week.
The tiny bit of him that did care was the bit that minded the fact that Deku wouldn’t be home. Deku missed their weekly movie night, he fell behind in his book while Katsuki finished two and was nearly done with his third, and he wasn’t occupying the countertops like he normally did just to be in Katsuki’s presence.
Katsuki missed Deku; it was whatever.
It was whatever until Deku patched into his private com line.
OR
That time Izuku and Katsuki were in an established relationship and the world believes Izuku is gone.
