Summary
Do not blush, Alhaitham tells himself, do not blush! A giggle escapes Kaveh. Brightening his face; his nickname Light of Kshahrewar is truly a good fit. Did he blush? Is that why-
“You know smiling would make you a lot more handsome.”, he smilies directly looking into his eyes. With a smirk Alhaitham asks: “Will that keep you complimenting me, dear senior?”
He can't stop his words or his smirk. Hopefully, his racing heart wouldn't betray him, but with Kaveh so close...
“Hmm? You don't need to smile for me to compliment you.” How could Kaveh say this so nonchalantly? His face feels hot. Kaveh looks at him so honestly with so much admiration. Love? Could he – He shouldn't speculate if the other feels something for him. Did he say it didn't matter what he felt? He lied.
He wants to be the only one that Kaveh looks at like this. -

Summary
“Just a bit longer”, his voice breaks, “it's gonna be okay. I got you.”
Tears from his own eyes dripped onto his light. Mixing. He feels sick. His light is hanging in his arms. Pale. Quiet. His heart wrenches painfully in his chest. Every step hurts his light. But he can't stop. Kaveh needs help. What if the carrying is already irritating his injuries further? His red blouse is sticking to his skin. He can't run with him. He can only hope. Alhaitham knows his Light is strong.

Summary
"...I see," Kaveh said, with a sad smile. "The most comfortable company I've managed to find in the world is a tree. Mayhaps I should accept that I am indeed crazy."
He said that, but he took the invitation and stepped into the branches, lifted comfortably off of the ground.
"I'm Kaveh," he introduced himself. "An architect and artist. A sick and starving one. Whatever you are, you've been a great comfort to me and I owe you thanks."
Looking back, Alhaitham is sure that introduction would have been very different if Kaveh had known Alhaitham would eventually speak back to him.
