Eddie Diaz wants nothing to do with the paranormal. He would be perfectly happy if the spirits of the world stopped showing themselves altogether, actually. But when Adriana and Sophia come to town to film on location for their popular YouTube ghost hunting channel and the ghosts in Eddie's life start becoming much more loud and frequent, he gets roped into figuring out just why things in the Los Angeles spiritual world are changing, and not for the better. The children are crying, and Eddie might be the only one who can hear them.
A, hopefully, spooky story featuring a reluctant psychic, sibling bonds, quite a bit of paranormal activity, a blossoming romantic relationship, and a mystery that's begging to be solved.

It was Claire, a girl in his class, who had first broached the subject, who had planted the very idea, which obviously meant all the scheming Christopher had done over the last month was entirely down to her. Besides he didn’t understand what his father could possibly be so upset about? He certainly hadn’t been complaining during their dates. Summary
It’s clear that something's up, but the eggshells they all walk on around Buck feel more like twisted shards of their own ladder truck ready to bore deep into their soles and souls. Bobby is the captain; his responsibility is to monitor his team, intervene when needed.
The problem is, he hasn’t quite figured out the difference between what Buck needs and what he needs.

“Pot, meet Kettle,” Bobby grumbles before he can stop himself, a feeble attempt to try lightening the mood.
Buck shoots him a frown, annoyed and frustrated, but- “Shut up.” -there’s no heat in his words, and Bobby can’t help the small chuckle that escapes him.
it's been a few weeks since that fateful night, and they're all adjusting to their new normal.
a normal that has a very distinct lack of buck in it.
bobby's not the only one who's noticed that the kid's been shying away, and he's finally going to get to the bottom of this.
even if that means having a few difficult conversations along the way.(aka the fic where buck is questioning his place in life, bobby hates the buckley couch, & they both realize that maybe they should have been more honest with each other from the beginning)
