The blonde girl said nothing more as she placed a cigarette on her lips and drew near a lighter to light it, giving a pair of puffs before taking it away with her slender fingers, huffing a cloud of dark smoke.
The night was beautiful, I noticed, the climate was just right, it was a breezy summer night, one of the lasts from the season, the sky was a fade between the traces of pink left by the sun that was soon going to disappear into the horizon and the deep blue that was taking over the whole space. Slowly the lights of the city started to light up, including the lightpost me and Bakugo were standing under, and for a little moment, while I had my head up against the sky and the cold breeze of the night brushed my hair, I felt like things would get better soon.
