This is technically part of the Ivory Shadows universe and occurs after the events of "Where I Left You" but before "Strawberry Evanescence," however it can be read as a stand-alone fic. This is, in fact, a "we're at a motel and there's only one bed" trope fic so, you're welcome. As for timeline... “Good. So I’ll just”—she jostled the flour and butter in her bowl in a sad pantomime of mixing—“while you read.”
