丹尼尔的膝盖剧烈颤抖，血液正一点点从他身体里流走，他生命的泉水汇入到阿尔芒的泉水里，阿尔芒轻柔地扶住即将往前倒下的丹尼尔，他手臂的力量禁锢住了他，阿尔芒跪坐在他身旁，小口小口啜饮着丹尼尔的血液，丹尼尔再次听见了女伶的歌声，她忧郁的歌声伴着如梦似幻的钢琴声，飘飘乎从大门虚掩的另一头传来。透过门框上的玻璃，水晶灯散发出橙黄色的光芒。丹尼尔感到一丝寒意，阿尔芒的嘴离开了他的肌肤。
又是一阵皮肉撕裂的声音，丹尼尔抬眼看向视线以上的阿尔芒，阿尔芒的脖子被划开了，殷红的血液汩汩流出，他将丹尼尔拉起来，将他的嘴贴紧他流血的喉咙，阿尔芒的血液像是蜜糖，他将脸埋进阿尔芒的颈子上，阿尔芒的血液涌入他嘴中。
当丹尼尔再一次睁开眼睛，他看见炫目的光线，阿尔芒的周身散发出强烈的光晕，玫瑰色的双眼，一滴血泪从阿尔芒的脸颊上流下。
“封印将要破碎，你将会永远恨我。”阿尔芒说。

She opened the bag and dug out a fry, then handed Mobius his burger. “You work at a school now?” she asked. “Did they hire you because of your ability to give speeches laden with folksy aphorisms?”
“Of course not.” Mobius set down his drink and unwrapped his burger. “I also have a mustache. They were practically begging me to be a coach.”

Summary
When Mobius got pruned, he expected two different outcomes. Either eternal peace or eternal emptiness. He certainly didn’t expect a grey sky, ruins of old buildings looming over him, and a Loki variant watching him like he was a piece of fresh meat.

“You’re no analyst.”
Mobius sounds stunned. They are not aligned, they are not in tandem. But there are wistful glimmers of what is now agonisingly out of reach.
“No," Loki admits, eyes unable to settle on the Mobius that isn’t his. "I’m not.”
“Who are you then, really? Cos it sounds like you've been making some waves and not just around these parts.”
Head resting against the wall, Loki lets his hands hang loose over his knees. They droop with his resigned realisation.
“It doesn’t matter who I am.”
A breathless laugh slips out of Mobius as he shakes his head. Somehow, there's warmth in it.
“Oh, it matters. It - it definitely matters."
This is what remains.
