After the events of season 3, episode 7, Crosshair doesn't feel like talking and Hunter is willing not to push too hard, but doesn't plan on leaving him alone either.

Hunter's gaze lingers on that kriffing tremor. “Does it hurt?”“What do you think?” There’s as much venom in Crosshair’s voice as he has the energy for. A fight with Hunter would be a nice diversion. Maybe he won’t have to think about the brainwashed clones then, or how many shots he missed back there.

Summary
Over the years, Michael has seen Trevor drunk, injured, and high off of everything that someone could conceivably ingest - and a few they shouldn’t. He knows immediately which one this is, now that he’s bothered to look.
“You got shot, didn’t you?” It comes out as an accusation. He didn't mean for it to be, but isn't that their way? Tempers and blame no matter the circumstances.
“It’s not bad.” Trevor puts a hand to his stomach, as if to prove that it’s a perfectly harmless place to be shot. His fingers are wet with dark blood.
___________As Michael and Trevor prepare to go their separate ways, Michael realizes that Trevor was shot in the final gunfight - and that he cares what happens to his old friend.
