Jinx didn't remember much when she woke up in the Doctor's lab. She was told she suffered an injury from the Firelights, but she couldn't care less about that. Because of the blood running down her chin. Because of the bewitching smell surrounding her. Because she was hungry beyond anything she could imagine. Because she quickly realized what she did. Because of the flesh stuck between her teeth.
And yet, she was still hungry, and now... Now she really did become a monster. Still, she couldn't help herself but crave for more... meat.
Mylo and Claggor weren't shutting up, but at least, Silco was there to help like he always did. And surprisingly... Sevika, too? She wasn't sure if her life was getting worse or just weirder.

Armin feels his face twist into a snarl briefly, but when he looks at Eren, his eyes catch on his and Mikasa’s tangled hands. Hers are squirming under his grip, and then pull against her stomach in a gesture that makes Armin dizzy for a moment. He sees again that line of red, but—it’s not blood.
When he sees what it actually is, he almost wishes it was.
“‘M fine,” Mikasa says. Her breath is coming too fast, too shallow. “Just—cold…”Eren’s eyes shine with wonder, locked on their joint hands and what’s below them; the red spilling out from the gaps in her buttons.
That is not right, Armin thinks, gut churning. That shouldn’t be happening.

Summary
On Jason's feet, are no longer the new shiny red trainers Bruce bought him, but his old and frayed shoes instead. They look even more decrepit now that the boy's actually wearing them, and it's a miracle they didn't rip apart when he put them on.
Something in Bruce cracks a little, but he's always been a good actor. He pushes the worry that he's missing something important somewhere else and smiles at the boy, "Got everything you need?"
Jason lets out a barely perceptible sigh of relief, and Bruce only notices it because he was looking for it, evidently glad Bruce doesn't mention the change in footwear, "Yeah! Let's go."
(Bruce really can't stand Jason's shoes.)
