Summary
They fiddled meticulously with the sticks of the fan between their fingers. It had been almost one year, six months, two weeks, four days, and 3,312 seconds since they left Octo Valley. Since they left their family and so too, almost one year, six months, two weeks, four days, and 3,312- no wait- 3,314 seconds since they met Frye and Big Man and no they didn’t always think about it all the time. They just thought about it passively all the time and how much the Clan meant to them. And this, this occasion, they had so much time to mentally prepare and yet they were still scared.
They had to be here though. Not because Frye and Big Man were going to leave them behind, or the two screamed at them to come, but because it was their duty. THEIR responsibility. Shiver tried not to tie themself to ‘should’s these days, and it was very freeing, but there was something deep in their chest they knew was what they needed to commit to. This being one of them.
Yes. Here they were. At the Manta, Onaga, and Mega clan reunion. Yes. Best of luck to them they suppose.
