wonderfulinsufferable dad jokes.They were already making dad jokes. The evidence was right in front of her nose, stuck to the shiny stainless steel door of their shiny new fridge in their shiny new apartment in the shiny (though not quite as shiny as the Gold) Silver District.
A magnet, made of some rough tan stone, with a green olive — a pimiento, judging by the red pepper peeking out — and the word "You" painted on it.
It could have been worse, she supposed. (Or better, depending on your tastes.) The word "You" could have been replaced by a drawing of a sheep.
Her new roommates seemed obsessed with olives. Punny olives, specifically. The apartment was full of them.

Summary
The days were getting shorter, the nights were getting longer, the leaves were beginning to turn, and a family of wyverns was causing problems a half-day's ride from the City. Normally, this would be a job for a couple of full knights from the Institution of Law Enforcement and Heroics, but this time, the Director chose two squires. Even though they technically were going to be knighted at Midwinter — just a few scant months away — this was still considered an honor.
Unfortunately, this was an honor that came with missing the Harvest Festival.
Ambrosius grumbled about it as they ate breakfast in the mess hall, he grumbled about it as they packed their gear and put on armor, and he grumbled about it as they rode through the city gates.

I've ordered them roughly chronologically but there's no need to read them that way.

Summary
These fics are focused around the Noceda family - Manny, Camila, Luz, Vee, and Hunter. Many have overlapping timelines with other fics and most can be read as standalones. Most are also compatible with my Palistrom & Promises series and some fit in with both.
Chronologically (by earliest scene), these fics would go:
1. Remember me (dance in graveyards): This fic is bittersweet and spans the time from Manny's diagnosis to a few years after the finale.
2. Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future (in progress): This starts not too long after Manny's death. Later chapters will take place after the finale.
3. Blood Brother: This takes place during S3E1: Thanks to Them and mostly focuses on Hunter and Vee (with some Camila and Luz).
4. Intervention: This is a missing scene from Blood Brother and focuses on Luz and Vee.
5. World's Best Turkey Carver: This is a silly, Thanksgiving crackfic set in the Palistrom & Promises universe, but it works as a standalone. It's set a little over a year after the finale (but was written before For the Future).
I have other WIPs in this series that I am working on.
