Summary
“Bucky!” Darcy curses, fumbling to cover herself, even though the damage is done. Course, she manages to knock the dish towel on the counter down to the floor because she’s flustered and Darcy’s already a complete klutz even when she isn’t flustered. She’s left ducking down, mostly naked, behind the island counter, peering over the top.
Darcy flushes, heat beating fire engine red in her face. At least they're in a blackout, so the only light filtering in is from the glow of the street lamps and the passing traffic. If there’s any justice, the light from outside won’t extend enough for Bucky to be able to see it. Darcy’s karma, though, clearly, is shit tonight so the bastard can probably see it all. Which, reminds her, oh, yeah, naked and cowering behind a kitchen cabinet, like a totally legitimate adult.
Fucking karma.

Summary
After her somewhat life-changing encounter with a Norse God in the desert, Darcy ends up at the forefront of the Battle of New York fighting jet-ski riding aliens, along with the X-Men and some group that nobody knows anything about. Of course, her absolute crap luck of finding herself in messed up situations, this one of her own making with a little help from the tesseract, comes through and crash lands her in 1942 version of New York.
With little other choice, Darcy puts her skills to use and finds herself as a pilot for the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP), transporting planes and soldiers, including one Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes. And, as she soon learns, where James Barnes is, trouble soon follows in the form of Captain Rogers and the Howling Commandos.
A Darcy/Bucky story, but also, and mostly, a Darcy putting her life back together after everything falls apart story. Because when push comes to shove and Darcy's back is up against the metaphorical wall, she's going to come back swinging with a vengeance.

Summary
Darcy pushes aside the thoughts and focuses on the images once again. She can’t help the smile when she sees the fond exasperation on the Winter Soldier’s features; it seems like an expression that’s familiar with the lines of his face, one that used to be worn with casual care. One that doesn’t get as much practice anymore, given the slightly tight lines around the one corner of his mouth. As if he’s trying out the expression like an old shirt and it doesn’t fit right. He’s trying, though, and the expression stays.
Without hesitation, she uses the retweet button and adds the image to her feed with the same hashtag she used earlier, #AndWhatHaveYouAccomplishedToday. Might as well make it a thing, right?

There’s so much in his tone. So much conveyed in those few words that, even someone who doesn’t know him, someone who’s only heard rumors and gossip, can put together the pieces. He isn’t Steve. He wasn’t frozen for seventy years, only to be thawed out, pristine and clean. He’s been used and he’s been the one who has done the using.

It all starts because Steve is too dumb to handle his smartphone.
A wrong number AU in which Bucky Barnes doesn't enter Steve's life (meaning: Bucky wasn't born until the eighties, but Steve is still Captain America) until Steve accidentally dials the wrong number. Wherein there is a lot of texting, some advice via Natasha and Darcy, a bit of pining, and a first date in an amusement park. Oh, and on top of being a disabled veteran, Bucky is a professional catwalker. Literally.

The outline of Steve’s hands, balled into fists inside his pockets, looks too sharp despite the wool barrier. His nice pants. Standing there in his fucking church clothes and all it makes Bucky want is to walk over there and rub him through them until he’s in just as much of a state as Bucky is.
