"Hey xiansheng," he ignores the glare Xiao gives him, "where's Ganyu? Did you leave her at home?"
His eyes widen at the empty spot where Ganyu used to hold him, now vacant without a single trace of a little girl.
He could only stare at Childe in shock, words lost and stuck in his throat. Xiao faces his father with concern, gripping tighter on his shoulders.
"Papa.. where's Ganyu?"
Childe was able to connect one to two, from Zhongli's morbid expression and to Xiao's confusion about his sister's absence.
"Shit." He muttered.

Or, Ganyu goes missing, Zhongli doubts himself as a father, Childe is there. Hu Tao gets adopted by the family.
