Summary
After everything that went down in Egypt, Marc thought things were looking up for him and Steven, and now that the drama was finally over, he began trying to rebuild his relationship with Layla. He thought he was happy. Until one fateful night, a mysterious wizard appears in his apartment asking for his help, and Khonshu is happy to jump in and take up his offer. The lousy bird god ALWAYS has something to gain, and Steven dreamed of seeing "The Big Apple" for the first time. Who knew that working with the Avengers would only open up old wounds and reveal secrets Marc wasn't ready to share? Would he make friends with the ragtag group of heroes or make more enemies than he bargained for? One things for sure, this work vacation was going to suck.

Summary
When it came to heroes and other vigilantes, Marc didn’t have any interest in interacting with them.
He travels with Khonshu’s will, continuing to protect those under the moon and following through with Khonshu’s severe judgments. He kills and keeps Khonshu content and fed, shielded under the darkness of night and the flickers of the moon.
(Or, Marc meets the Avengers. And then gets shot in the head.)
