Summary
I wrote this story for creative writing class, and I'm posting it here in case anyone gets really bored.
Essentailly we have our main characters; Silas Thisbian- a man who has been working to get his dream job at Managing Malcontent Magic for ten years, who finally gets an interview the day the story is set. Then we have Amythest- Silas's best friend (and secret love interest) who has no known magic, but is very sweet. And last we have Sharpcutter, head of department at MMM, and the one in charge of Silas' interview.
Silas, who is extremely loyal, gets a call from Amythest on the way to his interview. She needs his help, badly. He needs this job, badly. Which one will win over, his dream job, or his best friend?- Language:

Summary
For the longest time, Bruno Madrigal thought he was cursed.
His kidnapping, torture, and near-death experiences helped in that, but reuniting with his father and returning to his family’s loving embrace, Bruno was able to put those thoughts away. However, as the hefty and heavy hand of El Jefe covered his mouth and suppressed his screams, Bruno decided that while he might not be cursed, he was most definitely haunted.
This is a sequel to The Eyes Have It.

Summary
"Hey there," Iceman murmurs, holding his hand out to Maverick. "C'mere, I won't hurt you. I promise."
There must be witchcraft or something in Iceman's voice- Maverick's pretty sure he wouldn't be losing his mind over it otherwise. Things only gets worse when his legs decide to move him towards Ice without his brain's permission.
"That's it," Ice says in that same low, almost hypnotic voice. He runs his fingers gently over Maverick's furry head, and it feels a little too good, because Maverick starts purring. "There you go. Aren't you pretty, huh? Yeah, you are. Got the prettiest green eyes I ever saw, you know that?"
Or, the one where Maverick gets turned into a cat and almost explodes when Ice pets him and tells him nice things. Twice.
