“Anyone know where Castiel went?” Dean asked the room.
“He said he was gonna get a drink before the show began” Charlie answered from behind her computer.
“Got trouble keeping check on lover boy Dean?” Meg said that irritating smirk that failed to irritat the shit out of him.
“You wish Masters” Dean spit out while making way over to the door. “I would watch out if I was you Winchester” She said which made him stop up, and turn around to her.
“What do you mean by that?” He said, hoping to keep the fear out his voice.
Summary: long time boyfriends/bestfriends Dean and Castiel are touring with their band. And while Castiel is out as a proud pansexual, Dean still doesn’t feel ready. A tiny bit of jealousy and a flare for dramatics just might change that

[“You can mess with my hand. I don’t know if that’s the same sort of thing.” He licks his lips, trying not to think about how dry his throat feels.
It takes a moment, but Richie cautiously takes hold of Max’s hand with both of his. He runs his fingers atop Max’s, rubbing them. Worn black nails dig lightly against the top of his hand, before squeezing and running across it. His touch is a gentle sort of pressure, and Max finds his body relaxing as he watches Richie. Said boy is focused, lip between his teeth. He breathes in and out as his fingers move up and down, rubbing or squeezing Max’s own. Air breezes by them gently, the night chill hugging their hands as they occupy the same small space. It’s sort of pretty somehow.
Neither of them speak, and Max wonders if Richie is also afraid of shattering whatever accidental moment they’ve both stumbled into.]

Summary
All of Max's life fit more than comfortably in one duffle bag which was presently slung over his shoulder. There he was, standing awkwardly outside of Richie’s apartment building, smoking a cigarette and waiting for the man to come down to the lobby to meet him. He could've waited inside but he'd just felt so out of place it made his skin crawl. So, he just resorted to his tried and true fallback plan for escaping situations like that.
A cigarette break.

After Max’s attempt and beyond unexpected reunion with Richie, he doesn’t have much of a choice about moving in with his past victim. All he wants to do is lay down and die, give up and let the guilt swallow him whole, but he can’t. For some reason, Richie wants him to live; Max owes it to him to at least try.
Max doesn’t believe he can.
Even if he’s wrong, even if he can turn his life around, does he deserve that second chance?
