Summary
Iterators were built to last, to iterate for an eternity and longer to solve the great problem. The creation of Shifting Gales didn't follow that dogma, its acidic consequences at last having breached her veins, corroding her now from the inside out.
Cursed to waste away slowly, until dissolving into nothingness.
Gales' local group didn't accept the cruelty of fate, of the Ancients' distant mockery, and halted their primary objective to help their friend in peril.
As they worked tirelessly on a solution a small, soon-to-be glowing, Slugcat was purposed to fulfil a crucial mission.Series

Summary
Moon had collapsed and was stuck in an irreparable body, and Pebbles was slowly being torn apart from the inside out by the rot which threatened to destroy his systems. The one thing that can fix this, he decides, is a hand-crafted Engineering team who re-locate Looks to the Moon to a new body above the clouds.
The three slugpups that make up his engineering teams must learn and grow strong enough to withstand the outside world, until they can survive and traverse on their own to scout for a new location. He knows they can do it, he crafted each himself after all.Featuring No Significant Harassment being a fill-in older sibling, a old and greying (but still kickin') Hunter, Five Pebbles growing to care more for three mortal slugcats more than he's ever cared for anything in his life, and a Looks to the Moon who is set and determined to never let him go again.

Summary
*This fic is on indefinite hiatus. More details in final chapter notes.*
Five Pebbles is being consumed by his past mistakes. His can festers away, each cycle spreading the malignant Rot inside, and struggle as he may, there is no escape. But a single pearl, stumbled upon by his last citizen, Artificer, in a stroke of pure luck, shows him a way out. A way to free himself from his can, escape the Rot, and maybe find a way to redeem himself for his past. It's as simple as cutting a puppet's strings.
The outside world is dangerous, but with determination and fierce companionship, Pebbles and his group of strange slugcat companions can not only survive, but find a place for themselves in the world, where the new civilizations of slugcat and scavenger rise from the ashes of the ancients. The ghosts of the past can be overcome, and a new future found, but it will require no shortage of bravery, insight, and determination.
Breaking free is just the first step. The real challenge begins after.

Summary
About a year before the Brightest Night, loyal SkyWing guard Osprey sees his friend Kestrel driven to kill one of her dragonets and leave the other in Queen Scarlet’s claws, shaking to the foundations his faith in the SkyWing throne. A dragonet with firescales is an abomination, defective and dangerous. That’s why Scarlet ordered Peril’s death as soon as she hatched. But after Kestrel’s disastrous attempt to escape with her dragonets, the Queen finds another use for Peril.
As Peril grows up, Osprey begins to find himself caring for her beyond his circumscribed role, and consequently finds himself drawn into the tangled relationship between Peril and Scarlet. And worst of all, his care for Peril begins to threaten the one rule he must live by: Stay on Queen Scarlet’s good side, keep his head down, and don't give the Queen any reason to kill him.
