He freed you from them and turned you from a Bene Gesserit into a faithful soldier who took care of all his dirty business. Getting rid of the bodies of the people he killed, organising opponents for him to fight, poor people on whom he could vent his anger and desire for bloodshed, or even concubines. You were his eyes and ears in the baron's court. You reported everything to him, being more effective than any Bene Gesserit. But he wants more from you... much more than you are willing to give.

Summary
Inana Lavellan can't see most things - not in the waking world, anyway. The Fade is another matter, shining like a beacon just beyond the Veil. She loves the Fade, where everything is clear. Most clear of all is the spirit-teacher she has had for as long as she can remember. He taught her when she was still a child how to interact with spirits without fear. He shows her ancient dreams and memories. He talks with her about magic and philosophy. She has learned so much from him that it hardly even matters that their timelines seem to meet at random, and he doesn't always - or even often - remember who she is.
Imagine her surprise when her dreams lead her to the Conclave, compassion leads her to the burned-out temple in the wake of the explosion, necessity leads her to begin attempting to close the Breach - and she discovers that the spirit she has known all her life exists in the waking world as a man calling himself Solas.
