In retrospect he should have seen it coming. Tony had never been good at avoiding his father’s bad side. Too loud, too rebellious, too smart, but never smart enough. It had been like that since he was four and his first circuit board had shattered against the wall, then again when he was twelve and had the audacity to fail at being the alpha Howard deserved. Still it was hardly his fault that any idiot could see the mistakes in Howard’s blueprints. Not that Howard saw it that way.

Workings of a Small Town, Or the Tales of Gay Grumps in Love
This is an AU set in a small town somewhere in the midwest named Laurence. It follows the trials, tribulations, and shenanigans of my favorite extended family. Everyone is gay and everything ends happy. There will be both dabbles and short stories as well as some longer works. They will (hopefully) come together to tell the stories of how Bobby/Crowley, Ellen/Jody, Jo/Charlie, Sam/Gabriel, Dean/Cas, and Benny/Will (OC) fall into love and trouble.

Summary
This is a collection of short writings that all take place in a universe where Steve and Danny get together right before Steve discovers Shelburne (i.e. if there was a bit more time between the end of season 2 and the start of season 3.) Most of the events are the same as in the show but I have played with a lot of details. There will be lots of Saturday morning pancakes and family adventures! I hope you enjoy!

Summary
Cat Witchers take after their school’s namesake in many ways. They dislike being told where they can and can’t go, they become vicious when they feel threatened, they are very particular about who is allowed to share their space, and, sometimes, they take a shine to someone for little to no reason. Which explains the way Aiden is immediately enchanted by the stranger willing to hire a Cat to assassinate his own parents.
When Aiden is forced to flee before collecting his pay, he writes it off as a lost cause, and accepts that he will never see the man again.
It seems the stranger has other ideas.
