The burnt orange UT polo hugged Alex’s frame, the fabric stretching over his chest and shoulders with every movement. And his shorts—God, his shorts—were tight, hugging his hips and thighs in a way that made Henry’s mouth go dry. A backwards cap perched on his head, the brim turned just enough to give him that effortlessly casual, all-American look. He looked so completely fratty, so undeniably bro-y, that Henry almost wanted to be embarrassed by how much it was doing it for him.

Alex is an all-American frat boy. Henry is... decidedly not. He’ll be the first to insist—quite adamantly, in fact—that he can’t tell a keg stand from a handstand and that beer pong is just some bizarre American twist on cricket.
Yet here he is, weak in the knees for a guy who looks like he just stepped off a “Top 10 Ways to Bro” listicle.
It’s practically a Shakespearean tragedy.
