Summary
Grif and Simmons have known each other for a long time, but Simmons has only recently figured out how Grif feels about him. He wants to tell him the truth about how he feels too, but Grif isn't taking him seriously... what follows is a series of chapters that each show a continued step in their relationship; from confessing their feelings, to officially being boyfriends, sharing their relationship with the others, an answer to a big question, and new arrivals to the family~
(This is all part of my story-line I've been setting up in my other fics, but this happens much farther down the road... I couldn't help it though, I had to share these two FINALLY getting their act together. This fic contains info on events that I haven't written yet, so don't worry if you feel confused. It all makes sense, I promise... and someday, l'll have it all completed. For now, just enjoy the Grimmons~) -

Summary
Jon got Martin away from the Lonely, but that didn't entirely "save" him. While hiding at the cabin, Jon does whatever he can to help Martin and take care of him... but it's hard to know what to do, or avoid doing too much. Martin isn't sure if he'll be alright, he just knows he needs to be here. In little ways, they help each other, and help themselves. (mentions the other characters, but only Basira is really featured)

(the boys have been through some TRAUMA, and it takes a while to recover. This gives them some breathing-room between getting out of the Lonely, and before the Eye Apocalypse happens. It is also me doing a bit of a character study, working out how they have changed, what stays the same, and why some stuff goes unsaid. Although it is difficult, Jon is trying to be the one who is the care-giver for once, but he still needs help himself)

Summary
One day, without anybody knowing why, Mrs. Blackwood makes a miraculous recovery! Everything from her health, to her attitude, to how she treats her son improves. The only person who thinks something is "wrong" is the same man who ran away. Martin never understood how his father could just leave... but at least he knows his mother will always love him
(A scenario in which Mrs. Blackwood has been replaced by the Not-Them, and ironically, Martin grows up having a much happier life. That is, until he starts making some discoveries and connecting the dots. The same general plot of the series still happens, but a few things are different, especially with events involving the Stranger)

Summary
Grif and Simmons met in their early training days, and later they both got sent to Blood Gulch, where they became stuck together for YEARS... but if things had happened a little differently, if they had been in the right place at the right time, perhaps they would have met earlier. Before getting stuck in a war, before they got stuck in the same routine. They were slightly different people when they were younger, but some things never change~
(AU in which Grif and Simmons meet a few years earlier in college, but eventually, it lines-up with the actual events of the series)
