Summary
Becoming a teen parent with his highschool girlfriend was not on Dream's bucket list, but fate has a way of fucking everybody over. Now, at the tender age of 19, recently divorced and extremely done with life, he and his now four year old son move halfway across the country, into an apartment complex near his new workplace.
Maybe he should have double checked the location of his new residence, why else would a two bedroom flat right in the heart of the city cost so little?
With their new home standing in the middle of the country's crime capital, Dream and Tommy have to make sure the city doesn’t eat them up, which turns out to be a lot easier than it first seemed. I mean, who would mug some already beaten up teen parent and his energetic problem child?
Or
Dream and Tommy move away after Dream divorces his abusive ex-wife. They should have fit right in with everyone else, Teen parents weren’t that uncommon, and being in an abusive relationship even less so! So why were literal villains looking at him with such pity?
Or
The Author is still desperately clinging onto disc duo as if his life depended on it.

Unfair. That's what the world is. In the ideal world, good and bad would be perfectly balanced, but this was Tommy's world, so it was shit. No money, no parents, and a city full of superpowered dickheads? How peachy. At least little ol' Tommy hasn't gotten onto any heroes' or villains' radars yet.... right?... RIGHT???

Summary
Vampires. That's what Phil and his sons are. Vicious monsters, blood-sucking fiends, terrible creatures. Regardless of whatever horrible thing they get called each day, it doesn’t change the fact they’re vampires and they love it. They’re faster, stronger, and more powerful than any human could ever hope to be.
But that strength comes at a price, one that puts a target on their backs by both humans and vampires alike. So when Techno is kidnapped by a rival vampire coven, it isn’t a surprise. But oh is Phil pissed.
The vampires they tracked down are certainly about to figure out how Phil got his title as the most powerful vampire, the Angel of Death. Because somewhere inside that nest is Techno, and he’s not leaving until his son is safe and every last one of those vampires are dead.
And if Phil finds another son inside these vampires' territory, ends up adopting the human who’s befriended Techno and experienced far too much pain at the hands of cruel vampires, can anyone really blame him?
Or SBI are vampires who find human Dream being mistreated by other vampires and promptly decide to adopt him.

Summary

Or, Klaus Baudelaire was kidnapped by Count Olaf as a result of the Schism when he was young. This causes devastating consequences in the lives of his and his sisters.
