   Summary

   Eivor was cold. He was falling. Pain wrapped tight around his neck. Something filled his mouth, hot and metallic. Beside him, Basim was choking, a hand pressed against his chest. Blood spilled past his fingers. Eivor tried to reach for him, to hold him, but his body wouldn’t move. He couldn’t move, he couldn’t breathe-

   One minute Eivor is in a cold cave in Norway, Basim’s blade at his neck, the next, he’s waking up in Kjotve’s clutches, three years earlier. This time, he knows Basim’s treachery, Sigurd’s hubris. The threads of fate are woven long before his birth, but what happens when one, tiny snag unravels the tapestry? The Nornir send him back, armed with foreknowledge, to fix their mistakes.

   He just hopes Basim isn't beyond saving.
