It started, as it does, on Harry’s eleventh birthday.
Hagrid took Harry to Diagon Alley and helped him get a wand, he gave him Hedwig, and Hagrid helped Harry to find the best gift he could: a letter from his mother.
If Harry wasn’t James Potter’s biological son, so what? He clearly loved Harry, he gave him his name and his life. And finding out that he had a biological father somewhere in the world was the best thing to happen to Harry.
Right? Right.

Summary
Spy/Assassin Bucky Barnes Code Name: Winter Soldier.
He was given a mission to find a wife and child and infiltrate the most elite school in the world. He didn't want to do it but he had to get close to his target. He was known for always doing things his way so this time he was at least making an effort to play by the agency's rules.
He goes to a shady orphanage to secure a six-year-old kid and finds Harry Potter doing a difficult crossword puzzle. He thinks the boy is perfect for the school. He wouldn't need him at all but the kid would get the best education and a somewhat family.
Harry has special powers that Bucky finds out about and helps him gain control.
Child secure he needed a wife. Luckily, the agency comes through with one.
Eventually, both spies/assassins begin to wonder if this is the agency's way of forcing them into retirement.
