Summary
Tommy was excited to start his new job as a detective after 5 long years of being a uniformed officer.
Tommy being 16 was going to be the youngest detective of the LMPD. He had been training for 6 years for this job. Tommy was smart and hard-working. He finished high school at the young age of 10 and went straight to the police academy, where he spent the next 5 months working on his mind and body so he could solve crimes efficiently. Fortunately, his 7-month program was cut to 5 for his rapid improvement. Unfortunately for him, they declared him too young so he needed more than a year of him being a uniformed officer. Well, it had been more than 1 that was for sure.

This will be a collection of oneshots (unless otherwise noted) set after my XiaoVenLumi fic "Untethered"--not necessarily in chronological order. They will make more sense if you've read Untethered, but can probably be read alone as well. I'll set the first chapter as a table of contents where the rating/summary/relationships can be easily found.

A Xiao character exploration and growth fic, mostly centered around his developing relationship with Lumine, but Venti has a larger part to play than is first evident, and Morax is ever watching from afar.

Okay, so maybe coming to the interview with a few broken ribs was a bad idea, but what choice did he have? Just not come and keep on being unemployed?
Several bad things could happen during his interview, given the circumstances. There was an AI in the building designed by Vulcan which not only kept unwanted people from getting in, it scanned people for any unauthorized weapons or injuries. There was also the problem with his illegal documents since he wasn't an actual adult. But the biggest risk is that the job is at a hero organization.
And he's a vigilante. Which are highly illegal.
