Summary
The Prince has grown interested in the Harbinger’s loyalty. Perhaps Tartaglia’s fervent faith will finally reap the rewards he so earnestly desires.
To be seen as a god, as something untouchable and sacrosanct, was all Mikhail had ever known. All his life was spent sat atop a throne with worshippers kneeling at his feet. No matter if he was the Crown Jewel of Snezhnaya or the Ice Prince, they remained, bowed, bent, heads touching the cold floor.
Still, in all his centuries, no one had ever dared to lift their head and gaze at the Prince, breach the defined laws of worship— at least, not until Tartaglia.

Summary
Three times Tartaglia admired the Prince from afar, and the one time his gaze was requited.
This fervent ache only grew like a weed within him each night. Another quivering desire entered his mind– how much more delectable would it be to have the Prince split him open instead? Clove him in half like a pomegranate? Eat the juices that spilt from within him and stain his teeth red? His heart would sing against his ribcage as the Prince dug his fingers beneath the splintered layers of his flesh, his cold touch tracing along the ribbons of his innards to cup frigid hands around the beating symphony of his heart.

Summary
It was the only choice he had, really. Truth is not kind or generous, nor is It evil. Edward had saved Al and he was paying his price for it. This was his sin.
But dammned it be, Truth was a bastard for sending him to wizards of all things.
