Hera made up her mind then and there. "I'm going. To this Hogwarts place. But only so I can figure out what happened to my mother. I will unravel who Dumbledore really is, and then I will show everyone. I will take their world apart and rebuild it brick by brick if that's what it takes. But somehow, someway, I'll make sure my mother didn't die in vain."
Petunia looked at her niece like she had never seen the girl before. And maybe she hadn't. In that moment she sounded so very Lily. Lily before she changed. That fiery determination and stubborn will to make everything right.
But Hera wasn't exactly like her mother. She was cunning and patient. She knew how to work the people around her and to see their true intentions.
She was Lily, but just different enough that maybe... Maybe this time, things would go the way they were supposed to.
