His phone vibrated again.
Still half-asleep, Jason turned over in bed and reached for it half-heartedly. Instead of his hand closing around the phone, he heard the thud of it hitting his hardwood floors. Another minute of blind searching and finally Jason held it in his hands.
Through eyes still blurry from sleep, he glared at the few messages he’d received.
The first was a link by Barbara, followed by a text welcoming him back.
He pressed the link, frowning at the bright light that was emitted from his phone. His frown only deepened at the newspaper page that was pulled up.
Rumors Are True: Second Wayne Son Alive
Jason rolled his eyes at the headline.
Or alternatively; Jason agrees to let the press know he's alive. The resulting headlines make him regret it.
