The story since Chapter 3 is available in English, and you could read from Chapter 3 without missing that much. First two chapters are some pre-canon pieces with a brief abstract in English about some background, and the real romance starts from Chapter 3.
Some stories are interwoven with the canon, mostly an almost-love-story between two of our favourite civil servants.
