Summary
Midoriya sat next to the window on the top floor of the new UA building. He stared out of the obnoxiously large, reinforced windows, scanning the city-scape that surrounded the school with mild interest.
His anxiety was finally put to rest and his anger settled contently in his gut. His heartbeat was surprisingly calm, in spite of what he had done.
The freedom, the release he was about to get from this gave him nothing but serenity despite the fate that the entire human race now faced because of his actions.
As Midoriya took a deep breath, everything began to vibrate violently and the sky suddenly turned a dark red as though it was a prophecy of what was to come.
Ah, he had wondered exactly what it would be like when he set it off, and now he knew.
He exhaled softly and closed his eyes as the world began to collapse around him.

Midoriya’s eyes shot open as he desperately gasped for breath. Midoriya Izuku was supposed to be dead, alongside the rest of humanity.
Instead, he found himself in an alien civilization claiming to have searched for humanity for years. He wasn't sure how he should feel, but he was on edge at every turn. Something wasn't right here...Series

The one-shot series Sweater Weather, revised and polished as a chapter fic! Posting on Fridays!
This fic takes place after the Hosu arc and skips straight to the kids moving into the dorm. This is my fun little interim AU wherein the kids get to deal with their emotional baggage and interpersonal drama without having to actively fight for their lives, at least for a little while. Sweater Weather is 100% a self indulgent comfort fic, diving right into all the classic tropes of mutual pining and hurt/comfort. It started off as a series of one-shots, but as the chapters go it becomes more detailed and cohesive. I hope it makes you feel cozy!
