“Tango?” Grian frowned when Tango appeared on the doorstep of his weird-looking base. “What’s up?”
He hated going to Grian for relationship advice, especially considering the state his and Scar’s relationship was in, but he saw no other option barring actively confronting Jimmy, and he was so scared that would just make everything so, so much worse.
“Something’s wrong,” Tango admitted, then clarified, “With Jimmy.”
“Did you have a falling out?”
“I don’t know.” His voice broke, the stress and fear making it nearly impossible to get a full sentence out.

When Jimmy and Tango go red, Jimmy all but disappears, and Tango starts to unravel without his Rancher before finally caving and turning to Grian, the only person in this world who knows Jimmy better than he does.

Summary
A year after their last big adventure and two years into their secret relationship, Jimmy Solidarity (aka the super strong superhero Sheriff) and his boyfriend Tango Tek (aka the villainous ice king Deepfrost) have moved in together and are looking toward the future. The mayoral election campaigns have started and life has continued on as normal. Or, as normal as life can be for a superhero and villain who are dating each other.
But the peace of a somewhat-normal life can never last. Especially for a superhero and villain who are dating each other.

Summary
Jimmy Solidarity is Sheriff, a superhero, who has been hunting down the villain Deepfrost for years. Tango Tek, a video game programmer crushing on his background-artist coworker Jimmy, secretly spends his nights as the misunderstood villain Deepfrost, trying to improve the city and flirting outrageously with Sheriff because it's fun. Neither of them know who the other is under the mask. But when a bigger supervillain comes back into town... well. It all snowballs from there (pun intended).
An AU inspired by @kitsuneisi and @xmaruu11's DDVAU on Tumblr but with different main characters because the Team Rancher brainrot has me by the throat
