Summary
“No idea what you’re talking about,” Mike says, and his embarrassing insistence is worth it when Will lets out a light laugh, soft and summery. Mike readjusts himself, just to make sure his legs don’t go entirely numb when he’s crouched over Will like this, torsos pressed together and arms slotted together. “No idea.”
“Uh-huh.” A smile teases at Will’s lips, amusement in his voice. It’s all too attractive. “Alright, tough guy.”
“That’s me,” Mike beams, and Will’s smile tastes sweet when he comes in close for a kiss, catching him open-mouthed.
Will's powers seem to go haywire every time they kiss.

It's almost time for Max and Lucas's wedding. Mike makes a promise.
-Whatever. He’s patient. He is. He can keep being patient, even if there’s no fuckin’ way Clinton’s getting them there, to that weird future world where it's not inexplicably illegal to be in love. Maybe the next asshole will, or whoever they bring in after that. He'll wait if he has to, because it's Will. That's all there is to it. This is enough, even if he doesn't get to also have it on paper.

Mike Wheeler has a problem.
Granted, he’s had many problems, he’d say too many, in his seventeen years on earth. From convincing his mom that no, just because he’s wearing a leather jacket does not mean he’s going off to do drug deals in the middle of the night, jesus christ mom, to somehow battling interdimensional horrors beyond his comprehension that came from a world parallel to his own, Mike Wheeler has had his fair share of problems.
But this one takes the cake.

She needed a moment. This wasn’t like her. Not at all. She was the calm one. The rational one. The one with good impulse control. But for some reason, the combination of near-death experiences, finally having her feelings for the girl she loved out in the open, no longer having the likelihood of imminent death hanging over them, and watching Kit destroy things with her bare hands and pick up heavy stuff, had resulted in Jade quite suddenly losing her mind.
