Summary
Wei Wuxian wakes up in Mo Xuanyu's body to find out that Hanguang-jun has been missing for years and the world seems bleaker for it. There are a million contradictory rumors and legends of his whereabouts, and the Lan disciples that he keeps running into are not forthcoming with their information. But they do seem rather fixated on his demonic cultivation. Wei Wuxian finds himself torn between finally being free of his past and living a peaceful new life or walking into the tiger's maw to find out what really happened to his zhiji.

Wei Wuxian desperately wanted to deny it for his dignity, but he couldn’t bring himself to, not when Lan Zhan was staring at him with such disbelieving earnestness. Somehow, it felt like holding a glass flower. Beautiful, delicate, one wrong move and it could shatter.
“I-I mean… I don’t not want to kiss you, but it’s also, like, not all the time? Only most times? I’m not making any sense. Let’s just forget this, okay?”
“So, Wei Ying wouldn’t kiss me?”-or-
Wei Wuxian just wanted to play yet another prank on Lan Zhan during their time in the library, but he ends up having to confront the reality that, sometimes, he just really, really wants to kiss him. And the even more unbelievable reality that Lan Zhan doesn't seem opposed to it.

Summary

However, when an innocent night of smoking and talking takes an unexpected turn, Karamatsu finds out about Oso’s feelings, while Osomatsu discovers he’s bit way more than he can chew, and gains a few new kinks along the way. Now he just has to find a way to explore this new side of Karamatsu and himself, without the rest of the family finding out. Easy peasy…right?

“I don’t listen to gossip.” Lan Wangji said, firmly.
“Wangji.” His brother scolded. Lan Wangji felt the bite of his disapproval slice through his resolve.
“If I go -.” Wangji struggled to formulate the words. “It will be harder to argue -. If I don’t speak to him I don’t have to consider his proposition.”
Lan Xichen let go of his wrist, frowning. He smoothed his trousers. “Wangji.” He told him. “I know you think the world of your - plants -.” He waved his hand at Wangji, seemingly unable to complete a coherent sentence.
“Mn.” Wangji said.
“But this man has some very - novel ideas about the animal kingdom. People are - excited.”
Wangji didn’t like the way Xichen emphasised ‘excited’. It made him feel - not excited. Annoyed. Frustrated that no one seemed to understand the value of persistent, dedicated, detailed study rather than ‘exciting’ and preposterous theories. Also, it infuriated him that everyone considered animals to be so much more exciting than plants. In terms of diversity the former was barely a patch on the latter. “His theories are ridiculous.” Was what he told his brother. “I am not strategic.” Lan Wangji told him.
Xichen smiled. “But I am. And I am your brother.”

“Oh please, look at this place,” Wei Ying said, rolling his eyes. “For starters, it’s in a mall. The scariest thing you can encounter in a mall is the terrible grinding machine of Capitalism.”
“Tell him, Wei Ying,” Huaisang added, eyes gleeful over the edge of his fan.
“It’s going to be just like every other commercial haunted house: some jump scares, a clown swinging around a bladeless chainsaw, half a dozen fog machines, maybe some creepy dolls if we’re lucky.” He swung around to share a cocky grin with his friends. “They’ll be lucky to get a peep out of us, right Lan Zhan?”
