Summary
Far be it from Gaara to question the normalcy of anyone’s relationship to pain.
But if Gaara is going to do anything to hurt Lee—however temporary the hurt, however desired—he's going to do it right. Because even if Lee wants or needs this (and Gaara suspects, from the way Lee clutches Gaara’s face to his collarbone at times, from how he angles Gaara’s head with his palm flat and firm on the back of his skull and urges him to bite, from the way he shudders and cries out when Gaara gnaws on old bruises to make them bloom again, that this might be more need than want), Gaara isn’t willing to cause him any lasting damage, physically or emotionally.
Gaara unleashes his wild side on Lee and cleans him up afterwards. Aftercare turns into something more.

“I-I’m sorry, Zoro,” he murmurs, trembling with remorse and briefly lowering his gaze as his eyes begin to well with unshed tears. “I c-couldn’t help it. I love being of use to you.”
A good answer.
And it’s an entirely honest one, but what Zoro appreciates most about it is that it’s safe.
“You love being of use to me?” Zoro purrs mockingly, a smirk tugging on the corner of his lips as he leans back into the loveseat. “How cute.”
But sometimes he gets off on cutting away the security of the safety net that Sanji happens to fall into.
His voice is as cold as ice when he speaks again, tilting his head questioningly. “You’re nothing more than a filthy fucktoy, aren’t you?”

Pete moans, a sharp, needy sound cutting through the delicate blanket of silence and peace at the pleasing cadence of Vegas’ voice thick with sleep and confusion. Another wave wracks his body and his sanity alike, making him seize and contort as if to move away from it. It’s too much. It’s not enough. He needs more. He needs — he needs Vegas.
“What’s wrong—” Vegas cuts himself off when he spots the way Pete’s gone dark red and aching, dripping onto his belly, visibly needy and desperate.
“Sore,” Pete whimpers, not knowing how else to convey what’s happening to him — how good he feels. “Hurts.”
Or: Pete is so sore from last night, he comes just from that.
