“Suguru, he’s alive,” Shoko reaches out a hand, placing it on his shoulder and pulling it back as he shrugs her off in a jerky motion, shaking his head and letting out a raspy breath of what is supposed to be Satoru’s name. Except that’s not what comes out, instead thick, bitter blood dribbles past his lips as he gasps, little black drops reminiscent of the curses he’d swallowed the day before dripping onto the ground next to Satoru. “Oh, Suguru.”.

Easily, without question, the most painful part of Suguru’s already painful high school experience is him. In only three days, Suguru felt like he had known Satoru Gojo his entire life. Not a compliment.

“I guess that depends,” he replies, his voice surprisingly even. “Do you regret any of them?”
Suguru’s smile deepens. “No.”
Suguru Geto defects from jujutsu society in 2007, after killing one hundred and twelve non-sorcerers in a remote village in northern Japan.
He returns in 2016, a suitcase in one hand and two thirteen year old girls hanging onto the other.
