Summary
If he were to encounter Hermione, he'd likely face a severe scolding, if not outright hexed. There were many reasons for this. Firstly, Harry had pilfered Hermione's middle and last name. (Oh, but perhaps Hermione would forgive him, for she had always regarded him as a brother.) Secondly, Harry adopted a boy without reading a single parenting book. (Although she might annihilate him with parenting books, she might still forgive this too.) Thirdly... Harry had interfered too much with the past, so he could no longer meet Hermione and Ron. (And she would not forgive this fact.)
Yet, looking at the black-haired boy he had adopted as his son, Harry could not help but smile.

Summary
We don't know that Harry Potter died on the night of October 31, 1981, on Halloween.
It was the moment when Lord Voldemort, after killing the Potter couple, cast the Killing Curse on their baby. The protective barrier created by his mother's sacrifice repelled the Killing Curse, but the infant's body was too fragile, and baby Harry died at that moment. Then, the repelled Killing Curse returned to its caster.
And so, the great Dark Lord Voldemort disappeared, and the unstable piece of soul latched onto the empty shell of a body—Harry Potter. When the green eyes beneath the blood-stained forehead regained focus, he was no longer Harry Potter. Oh, he was not a pure baby, nor was he the Dark Lord, nor was he the once-admired Head Boy at school, nor was he the boy crouching in the orphanage.
This was a piece of soul, a remnant, something close to worthless trash. But since we don't know that *Harry Potter* died, we call him Harry Potter. Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived.

Summary
Well, f--k.
Harry thought that when he decided to return, it would be to Hogwarts. He believed that choosing *return* meant he would be back in the forest. He certainly didn't say, *Yes, I am aware my soul's essence is actually Tom Riddle, and I understand this choice will send me back to Halloween 1981.* He didn't know. He really, truly, didn't know. Swear to God, Merlin, Morgana, and bloody Dumbledore's beard, he didn't know. He thought he was going back to Ron and Hermione, not to Godric's Hollow, where baby Harry Potter would be looking up at him with wide eyes, possibly with his mother—no, Lily Potter's body lying nearby. Well, f--k. F--k you. F--k you very much. Harry—who-turned-out-to-be-Tom wanted to cry. Holy-f--king-shit. Even the fact that mini-baby Harry was unbearably cute didn't help…

Summary
Marjorie Dursley was perfectly normal, at least initially.
Looking back, her earliest life was now a haze. She always began in summer and died by spring at the latest. Sometimes she died sooner, but it always started in summer. Over time, her life repeated like a broken cassette tape, playing through worn and stretched parts, occasionally rewinding back to earlier moments. Despite her efforts to escape this loop, the summer of 1993 kept returning.
Thanks to this, she was far from ordinary now, thank you very much. Having discovered that magic exists—something you learn if you become friendly with the prime minister—perhaps this time around, she might be able to fix that broken cassette tape... maybe?
