Geto checks his screen after another minute of silence but the Gojo clan’s supposed receptionist is still on the line, breathing quieter than the fountain behind her. He clears his throat, "Hello?"
"Sorry, Geto-san, there's no record of a Satoru Gojo here. Please, have a nice day."

Suguru Geto is summoned home for Winter Break-- just the same as Satoru Gojo. Unfortunately for them, being each other's excuse to stay at Jujutsu High and Yaga's explicit approval to go home, both are forced across the country from each other for more than two weeks, thinking they’ll have to communicate through scarce texts. Until Satoru Gojo goes missing before he can even step off the train-- radio silent for days until he appears just a mile from Suguru's home sporting mysterious injuries.

Summary
Slowly, so slowly, Jinx's breathing peters out, her sobs turning into quiet gasps and strangled breaths, and then she's staring up at Vi with dull eyes– no longer tortured by whatever visions she was having, but empty all the same. "Vi?" she rasps. "Are we dead?"
"Not yet," Vi promises, and she carefully rearranges them, half-drags her sister over to the wall so that she can lean across a hard surface, her sister's head in her lap. The burns marring her sister's face make her a sorrowful sight, but Vi pays it no mind, dragging fingers through Jinx's hair instead. "I don't know where we are."
Jinx sniffs, but she doesn't pull away from where she's now tucked into Vi's lap. "Guess that's a… good thing," she says, her voice still hoarse.
