Summary
I have, for some time, been willing to Die On The Hill that when Nick Nelson turns to Charlie Spring at Harry Greene's party, and asks him to 'go somewhere quieter', that he knows *exactly* what he wants to happen next.
But how did he get there? How does Nick, with almost no experience, know how to 'make his move'?
There's some internal Bi-Panic on Nick's part here, and some fundamental mis-understanding on Sai's part of how attraction works - but he's not being homophobic.
Also - Nick Nelson swears like an average teenager in his internal monologue.
Title from the Monopoly Cards that have small effects - but which still sometimes cause chaos.

The internal thoughts of Sarah, and Nick, as Nick goes from 'yup, totally, 100% only into girls' to 'Oh....' and beyond, whilst Sarah finds out that Something Is Happening early on, and tries to sit and wait for Nick to say something, whilst also trying to add all the pieces of the puzzle together.

First fic I've written since before the pandemic, but this show has taken over my heart and my soul.
Inspired by my brain thinking 'well how does Nick decide to become a teacher?', and 'how many of the school rules have Nick and Charlie broken since they got together?'.
Please note that the age of consent in the UK is 16, and this is set when Charlie is in Year 11, and after his birthday (so he is 16). Also it is canon (Word of Alice in 'Nick and Charlie') that they are having sex before Nick leaves school.
This plays fast and loose with a mix of TV canon, Webcomic canon, and, probably, fanon. Aled - no, Isaac - yes.

Nick clears his throat and wipes his hands on a napkin. “So Charlie, tell me about yourself.”
“Oh god!” Charlie giggles. “Anything but that fucking question!”
Nick joins him in his laughter. “A truly terrible question, on both dates and job interviews,” he chuckles. “I’ll try to do better. What do you do for work?”
Charlie swallows his food, feeling his heart rate immediately increase. If Nick is going to be an ass about this, he’d rather find out sooner than later. Might as well put all his cards on the table.
“I’m a sex worker,” Charlie replies.
