Summary
Grief is an all-consuming thing, pushing and pulling at every muscle until it becomes too tiring to think of anything else. But Merlin thought, without any doubt, that awaiting Arthur’s prophesied death to be much more brutal than any other loss he had ever suffered. And even though Balinor’s recent passing haunted his every step, Merlin was sure keeping all his secrets to himself would protect all that was between him and Arthur.
Unfortunately, Arthur was adamant about figuring out what was bothering his manservant so much, but it only grew worse once Merlin heard of a curse befalling the druids.Or; a story where Merlin struggles with his father’s recent death, and where Arthur is concerned about Merlin, but can’t get his manservant to open up about his growing burdens... Until he does.

Summary
After Sokka is pulled from the ocean by an unlikely hand during a deadly storm, he finds himself trapped on Zuko's ship, forced to rely solely on his wits to maintain his sanity amidst the surrounding Fire Nation soldiers. Delirious and ill from the near death experience, Sokka struggles to return to Katara and Aang before Zuko can reach them first. It proves to be more challenging than he initially thought.
Or; Instead of Katara and Aang rescuing Sokka from the fisherman's boat in time, Zuko does. Lots of feelings (good and bad ones) ensue.
