This is the story of three women and how they revolve around one another, a mother, a daughter, and a sister.
Angelina just wants what's best for Roxanne, her Baby Girl, her only living daughter. She needs her to be okay, to talk to her, to let her into her life as she once did as a child, but teenhood has been so hard on her little girl.
Roxanne was drowning, being pulled under the waves that would take her to a peaceful oblivion, that would stop the pain. The gnawing, haunting, aching pain that kept her trap where she was, that kept her voice from being heard.
Maria saw her future in sight, her beautiful wedding to her wonderful fiancé, a beautiful baby girl in her arms with little dark curls and her husband's blue eyes, but at the same time that future wouldn't be possible without Roxanne.
