"'Vander?' Jinx asks into the air, after turning from her supine position on the rafters to watch the man’s reaction.
She knows he had no idea she was even up there, watching him work at his desk– not his desk. It wasn’t his anymore, it looked strange but so familiar. Her body feels weird on these rafters now, not quiet used to having such short limbs again. She doesn’t recall coming up here before… before. She never was a good climber, Powder. But not Jinx. Jinx can get up here no problem. Jinx is all too familiar with the view up here, listening in on everything everybody said to him, and talking to him about how she couldn’t stop seeing them.
But he isn’t here. Vander is."

“Who are you to Jinx?” Vi’s voice was desperate, face pinched in distress.
Isha didn’t know. She didn’t have an answer. Jinx was her protector. Her sword and shield. She kept Isha safe and happy. She fed her and clothed her and gave her a whole place to sleep. Isha got toys and to play games. Jinx was safety and security and love.
She didn’t have a sign for it. There was never a need. It was Isha and Jinx and that was enough for them.

Jinx once told Isha that if she ever got into a tight spot, she could go to an address topside and look for the girl with pink hair. Isha had no idea who the pink-haired woman was, but when Jinx was kidnapped, Isha had to reach out for help, hoping the mysterious woman would help get Jinx back.

Summary
“What are you doing?” Jinx yells, her voice suddenly coming alive. Panic and confusion war in her eyes as she twists to look at him, the wind stealing her voice as soon as it escapes her mouth. “This was only supposed to be me!”
“Yeah, well,” Ekko shouts back, heart in his throat. “I couldn’t let you leave me again.”
He reaches for the pull string one more time as the floor rises up faster and faster. He grips onto her with all of his strength, and prays that the anomaly will have enough juice to save them both. As he finally pulls he doesn’t notice the crack running up the side of the glass, or the ominous tick as his stopwatch ticks past the red line he’d drawn with one of Powder’s oil crayons.
Pull. Reverse.
OR
Ekko accidentally brings him and Jinx back to before it all began. Now, they have to struggle to fix the mistakes of the past while figuring out how to heal. But, hey, at least they're together.

Racing through the streets, Powder holds the bag of loot close, chased by one of Deckard's friends. Eventually cornered by him, Powder arms and throws her latest bomb -Mouser. Eagerly, she stares at it, hoping for it to go off before-
Boom.
At least this time, Powder's siblings are too far away to be caught in the blast . . .
