Despite the darkness and coldness (it's so cold) of the tunnels, he feels a familiar joy burst and ricochet within him. The being in front of him bears no visual resemblance to the children he usually deals with, but he feels that it would be rude to judge someone based solely on their appearances. He and Moon both knew that very well.
On instinct, he runs one of his greeting animations. Bouncing on his feet, waving excitedly, his bells singing with the movement, their sound like a celebration.
